Sara Kuckhoff, DMD

A graduate of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) Residency program, Dr. Kuckhoff joins our team and the community of Grand Rapids. Dr. Kuckhoff has a passion for crafting custom smiles. She has studied under some of the most renowned cosmetic dentists. She joins Dr. Bakeman and the team at Betsy Bakeman Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry to continue the tradition of high-quality, long-lasting results that are as beautiful as they are functional.
Dr. Kuckhoff values data-driven and science-based risk assessment and treatment planning philosophies, which allow her to personalize the care she provides to her patients. She is completing a prestigious, post-graduate curriculum at the Kois Center in Seattle, WA where she studies under Dr. John Kois and Dr. Betsy Bakeman.
She is honored to join Dr. Bakeman and the outstanding team at Betsy Bakeman, DDS Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry in Grand Rapids. Dr. Kuckhoff, her husband, Thomas, and their dog, Marlow, are thrilled to call Grand Rapids home and continue the tradition of world-class dentistry at Betsy Bakeman, DDS Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Kuckhoff graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine in 2019. Since then, she has completed hundreds of hours of extensive continued education. She is known for her millimeter level attention to detail and desire for a refined, natural outcome for her patients.
Dr. Kuckhoff is a Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This designation means that Dr. Kuckhoff has passed the Accreditation Written Examination. She is in the process of extensively documenting the five case types required for Accreditation. Accreditation is a credentialing process overseen by the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry, which sets the standard for clinical skill in cosmetic dentistry.
