Dr. Bakeman graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1983. Since then, she has completed hundreds of hours of extensive continued education. Her rigorous supplemental training in dental procedures puts her restorative and cosmetic dentistry work in a class of its own.
Dr. Bakeman is an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in recognition of her expert skill and judgement in the area of cosmetic dentistry. She also has had the privilege to serve as chairperson on the Accreditation Board for the AACD.
Dr. Bakeman's passion for dentistry motivates her to train future generations of dentists by instructing at the Kois Center, which enables motivated dentists to expand both knowledge and application of skills in restorative dentistry.
Elite Status
Dr. Bakeman is included in an elite group of less than 300 dentists worldwide who are Accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). In fact, she is one of 50 dentists worldwide and the first dentist in Michigan to have achieved the distinction of being an Accredited Fellow in the AACD.
